ARCA donations: help roadies in crisis
The Australian Road Crew Association Limited (ARCA) offers donors the opportunity to give money to a fund which will be solely used to assist roadies in crisis.
Professional road crew perform an essential role in the music industry and for many it is a challenging existence: pay rates can be low and income can vary greatly as the work can be sporadic and infrequent … then when it rains … well, you know.
Very few roadies have provision for ill health or retirement. Doing a physically demanding job late at night and away from home for long periods takes a heavy toll.
